Anxiety Centers: San Mateo, California
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in
San Mateo, California
Our San Mateo program brings intensive anxiety treatment to the Peninsula and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. At 1900 S Norfolk St, Suite 280, San Mateo, CA 94403, clients ages 8 and older attend three hours of therapy per day, five days a week, through a 16-week intensive outpatient program. Care is centered on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): with clinician support, clients practice moving toward feared situations rather than away from them, learning that feared outcomes are more manageable than expected and that anxiety eases without safety behaviors. We treat generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and separation anxiety, welcoming families from San Francisco, Daly City, Redwood City, Burlingame, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, San Bruno, Millbrae, South San Francisco, and Hillsborough. Our outcomes include a 64% average symptom reduction and 92% client and parent satisfaction, with 95% of clients able to use insurance.

Dani Escorcia Ayala
Clinical Outreach Specialist
I’m excited to join the Clinical Outreach team. My background is in behavioral health, and I have a deep passion for mental health and neuroscience. I received my bachelor’s of science in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara. My last role focused on doing outreach to the Hispanic and Latino community in the Greater Bay Area in California.
Outside of work, I recharge by going on nature walks, reading fiction and cooking new recipes! I’m a firm believer in continuous learning, collaboration and creating positive change; both professionally and personally.
I chose OCD Anxiety Centers because it aligns with my life mission of helping others. I’m looking forward to using my experience to help make a long-lasting impact here at OCD Anxiety Centers.
