Anxiety Centers: South Jordan, Utah
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in
South Jordan, Utah
Our South Jordan program serves the Salt Lake Valley with intensive, evidence-based treatment for anxiety and related diagnoses. At 11260 River Heights Dr, South Jordan, UT 84095, individuals ages 8 and older attend three hours of therapy per day, Monday through Friday, throughout a 16-week intensive outpatient program. Treatment is anchored in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): with a clinician’s guidance, clients move toward the situations they fear rather than around them, discovering that feared outcomes are more manageable than expected and that anxiety fades without safety behaviors. Conditions we treat include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and health anxiety. Families reach us from Riverton, West Jordan, Midvale, Draper, Sandy, Herriman, Bluffdale, and Salt Lake City. Clients average a 64% symptom reduction, 92% of clients and parents report satisfaction, and 95% of clients are able to use insurance.

Julie Sheppard
Clinical Outreach Specialist
I began my career at Merit Medical Systems, where I spent nearly 17 years in customer service, marketing, and sales. In 2017, I transitioned into the mental health field and joined Solstice West RTC as Director of Business Development. This work quickly became personal—as a parent who navigated my own son’s mental health journey, I developed a deep sense of empathy and commitment to supporting families in crisis.
In 2023, I stepped into a new challenge as Executive Director at Sedona Sky Academy, where I was tasked with rebuilding and growing a struggling program. In 2024, following the acquisition of Sedona Sky by Emoticare, I moved into the role of Chief Growth Officer, helping lead strategic growth efforts across a larger network of programs.
I love working across teams—clinical, program, and operational—to strengthen systems, build relationships, and create hope for families. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, concerts, the outdoors, and spending time with my two sons and my service dog, Charlie.
