Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in
Carlsbad, California

Located at 1525 Faraday Ave, Suite 140, Carlsbad, CA 92008, our Carlsbad program offers intensive, evidence-based treatment for anxiety and related diagnoses. Clients attend three-hour sessions five days a week across a 16-week intensive outpatient program, a level of consistency that weekly therapy alone rarely provides. Treatment centers on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), in which clients practice approaching feared situations step by step and resisting the reassurance-seeking and escape behaviors that offer short-term relief but prolong anxiety. We work with individuals ages 8 and older experiencing generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and health anxiety. Families come to us from across North County San Diego, including Oceanside, Vista, Encinitas, San Marcos, and Solana Beach. Our outcomes include a 64% average symptom reduction and 92% client and parent satisfaction, and 95% of clients are able to use insurance.

Clinical Outreach Specialist

Clinical Outreach Specialist for OCD Anxiety Centers at the Carlsbad location, I connect individuals and professionals with effective, evidence-based care. Originally from Delaware, I studied Psychology in Virginia and spent several years in Washington, DC, before falling in love with San Diego during visits for beach days in Coronado, Padres games, and the beautiful sunny weather. I began my mental health career as a psychiatric counselor and went on to lead in utilization and risk management at an inpatient acute hospital. I later served as National Account Manager for a residential adolescent program on the East Coast. Now on the West Coast, I’ve combined my deep clinical insight with my passion for outreach to help build stronger pathways to treatment and wellness in the San Diego community.
